Py de Bulliat – granitic sands and gravel with variable proportion of clay. Sub-soil developed from the disintegration of Fleurie’s granitic rock mass.

VARIETAL — 100% Gamay

ALTITUDE — 500 m

AGE OF VINES — 50 years

VENDANGE — hand-picked in small crates of 35kg

WINEMAKING — Grape transfer by gravity. Whole bunch, no added SO2. 13-day maceration with a daily pump over (remontage) and one gentle crushing (foulage). Manual devatting and gentle pressing

AGING — 7-8 months in egg-shaped tank

Explosive nose that unveils aromas of purple flowers – pleasant lasting acidity supported by a pronounced tannic structure.
Cellaring: 5 years.
